All about The POREfessional facial
What is the Good Pore Day facial?

Good Pore Day The POREfessional facial is a service for your pores designed by the pore pros (that’s us)!

Powered by a few superstars from The POREfessional Pore Care collection plus a professional-grade pore-clearing device, the Good Pore Day is a 30-minute experience that helps cleanse, unblock, and visibly smooth pores. The result? Instant, visible smoothness with no downtime so you can step out of the chair and into your very own good pore day.

What does the Good Pore Day facial entail?

First, we double cleanse with The POREfessional Get Unblocked pore-clearing makeup-removing cleansing oil and The POREfessional Good Cleanup pore-purifying foaming cleanser to remove makeup and visibly purify pores.

Then, we use a water-activated pore-exfoliating powder. Powered by physical AND chemical exfoliants, the powder gently exfoliates for skin that feels oh-so-soft & supple.

After that, we apply a professional-grade gel to prep your pores for the Sonic Unblocker. The Sonic Unblocker is an electronic device that gently unblocks, unclogs, and clears pores. It also emits a cooling mist as well as a blue LED light, which has anti-bacterial properties, and helps support skin that looks clearer, smoother and healthier.

Next, we’ll tone with The POREfessional Tight ’n Toned pore-refining AHA+PHA toning foam, moisturize with The POREfessional Smooth Sip lightweight smoothing moisturizer for pores, and gently massage your face.

All that’s left is a little SPF and TA-DA! You’re ready to show off your pores to the world!

How do I prepare for my Good Pore Day facial?

To ensure you’re getting the most out of your Good Pore Day facial, use this check list to get your skin ready for some pore-pampering:

One week prior to your service:

  • Discontinue use of any products containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids such as glycolic or lactic acids, or any retinoids like Retina-A, Renova, Tretinoin, or Differin.
  • Avoid facial waxing; we recommend tweezing or threading instead
  • Avoid sunlight to reduce the risk of sunburn

If you’re factoring in injectables:

  • Wait 24 hours after receiving Botox or other Botox-like treatments to receive this service
  • Wait 2 weeks after receiving filler treatments to receive this service

And, if you’re currently being treated by a dermatologist, consult with them prior to receiving the Good Pore Day facial.

How long is the Good Pore Day facial?

The Good Pore Day facial experience lasts 30 minutes total—that includes consultation, service, oohing and ahhing at your freshly pampered pores, plus checkout. Yup, we’re all about getting great results FAST!

What should I do for Good Pore Day facial aftercare?

Your skin may appear pink and/or feel sensitive after receiving the Good Pore Day facial. This is normal! Here are our post-care recommendations:

  • Avoid direct sun exposure and use SPF 30 or greater.
  • Avoid excessive or direct steam and heat (e.g., saunas or steam rooms) for 24 hours post-service
  • Avoid abrasive exfoliation immediately afterward and the day after
Can I wear makeup after a Good Pore Day facial?

Yes! One of the biggest benefits of the Good Pore Day facial? You get instant results with zero downtime. That means you’re totally free to glam it up and hit the town the same day as your service.

For best results, however, we recommend avoiding complexion products immediately after your service. Your skin will have just been cleared of any pore-clogging gunk and debris, so it’s best to give your skin a break for a little while if you want to get the most out of your results.

How often should I book a Good Pore Day facial?

We recommend booking the Good Pore Day facial once a month, but you can safely get the service as often as once a week! Our advice is to check in with your skin—for example, if you tend to have oily or congested skin, booking twice a month might help you clear out pores more effectively.

What is Brow Lamination?

Benefit’s Brow Lamination service uses a simple solution that sets

Lastly, we have a short consultation on how to style your newly
laminated brows.
